Presented as an anecdotal snapshot, this work captures the experiences of a first-time Asst. Electrical Engineer on a cableship under British Telecom (Marine). The narrative recounts various events and incidents from the author's time at sea, inspired by family encouragement to document these unique experiences. It blends memoir and fiction, offering insights into the life aboard a cableship and the challenges faced in this maritime role.
