Struggling with her catering business during an economic downturn, Faith seizes the chance to manage the café at Aleford's Ganley Art Museum, a proposal from her friend Patsy Avery. However, Patsy has a hidden agenda; she suspects that a valuable Romare Bearden artwork she lent to the museum has been replaced with a counterfeit. As Faith navigates her new role, she must also investigate the art theft, blending culinary challenges with a thrilling mystery.
