More about the book

Born in 1873, Ford Madox Ford is renowned primarily for "The Good Soldier," yet his literary contributions extend far beyond this single work. He authored novels, essays, poetry, and criticism, and collaborated with Joseph Conrad on several projects. Ford founded influential literary magazines, promoting numerous authors. His experiences during WWI shaped his writing, and he published the acclaimed "Parade's End" series in the late 1920s. He spent his later years teaching in Michigan and passed away in France in 1939.
