The paper examines the rise in international trade and the corresponding increase in trade disputes over the past three decades. It focuses on the Dispute Settlement Body (DSB) of the WTO as a platform for resolving these disputes. By analyzing structural variables like GDP, population size, and exports, the study seeks to understand why certain countries engage with the DSB while others do not. Additionally, it proposes an index to evaluate the procedural success of countries involved in the DSB.
