Brackenbeck

Set in the early 1900s, the story follows Doctor Katharine Harvey as she faces skepticism and resistance from the villagers of Brackenbeck upon taking over a local practice. The community's disdain largely stems from Jim Kendrick, the quarry owner, who disapproves of women doctors.
