More about the book
Utilizing the Hedonic Pricing Method, this study analyzes the implicit market prices of environmental attributes in South African game reserves and safari lodges within the photo-tourism sector. By regressing tariff per person sharing against twenty environmental factors across 351 camps, a Double Log Model was developed to identify key variables influencing consumer satisfaction. The findings guide game reserve owners and managers on which attributes to prioritize for enhancing quality and consumer experience, while also indicating less critical factors for decision-making.
