Anthony Trollope, a prominent Victorian novelist, explored political, social, and gender issues through his works. After leaving his Post Office job to run for Parliament in 1868, he dedicated himself fully to writing. His literary achievements include the notable Barsetshire series, starting with The Warden and culminating in the acclaimed Barchester Towers. In addition to his novels, he edited St Paul's Magazine, where many of his works were serialized. Trollope's influence and productivity solidified his status as a key figure in 19th-century literature.
