A Real Job

Set against the backdrop of Northern Ireland's turbulent history, the story follows Detective Sergeant David Hurst and Detective Constable Steve Adams as they confront the resurgence of threats from the Provisional IRA. Years after receiving death threats, their lives are upended when they are shot at in London. As they investigate, they uncover a plot by the Real IRA to launch a terror campaign in mainland Britain, forcing them to confront their past and the ongoing legacy of violence in their lives.
