In a post-nuclear war America, Aeric Traxx leads the struggling city of San Angelo amidst mutated threats and marauding gangs. Scarred from his past with the Vulture gang, he discovers an engineer who helps convert construction equipment to steam power, enabling the city to build defenses and improve their food supply. As they learn to fight back against the harsh wasteland, the Vultures plot revenge, threatening to annihilate San Angelo and potentially extinguish humanity's last hope.
