The Lintons of Skillet Bend

Set against the backdrop of the Civil War's end, the Linton family in East Texas faces the threat of losing their land to the unscrupulous Finis Krim, who exploits the absence of their husbands. His agent, Joshua Birdsong, is tasked with finding documents to support this land grab. However, the unexpected intervention of five-year-old Julia alters the course of events, bringing hope and resilience to the Lintons in their struggle against deceit and adversity.
