Skippack School

Set in the 18th century, the story follows Eli and his German family as they journey to America and settle in Penn's Woods. Eli enjoys the freedom of outdoor life but faces the challenge of attending school. Contrary to his expectations of a strict teacher, he finds Master Christopher Dock to be kind and patient, shaping Eli's educational experience. The narrative explores themes of adaptation, family, and the balance between work and play in a new world.
