Conducted through semi-structured interviews and math assessments, the research identifies key factors influencing student success, including communication between high schools and colleges, student confidence, and effective transition programs. Recommendations for improving high school mathematics programming are offered, focusing on aligning standards and addressing student readiness and perceptions, ultimately aiming to enhance college preparedness.
