The October Killings

Set against the backdrop of post-apartheid South Africa, the narrative follows Abigail Bukula, who survived a massacre as a child and now serves as a lawyer. Haunted by her past, she is drawn back into the tragedy when Leon Lourens, a soldier from that fateful day, seeks her help to uncover a conspiracy targeting those responsible for her parents' deaths. Together with an unconventional prison psychologist, they race against time to unravel a complex web of politics and history before the approaching anniversary of the raid.
