More about the book

Focusing on the attitudes towards corporal punishment, this study examines the perspectives of secondary school teachers and students in the Misungwi district of Tanzania. By sampling 100 teachers and 100 students from two schools, the researcher employed self-constructed scales for data collection and analyzed the results using a t-test. The findings reveal a shared unfavorable attitude towards corporal punishment among both groups, highlighting a significant consensus on the issue within the educational environment.
