Flight of a Boat Tail

Set in the small town of Preston, the story unfolds after the shocking murder of Janine Compton, a member of a prominent family. Aaron Tully, the town's inexperienced cop, faces immense pressure to solve the case. Initially confident in his investigation, he arrests Janine's former lover, Jordan Finnie, based on substantial evidence. However, after discovering new information that exonerates Finnie, Tully grapples with self-doubt and the challenge of uncovering the real murderer as the investigation grows colder and time slips away.
