Picnic at Mudsock Meadow

Set during the annual Halloween picnic, the story revolves around William, who is skeptical about the ghost of Titus Dinworthy, believing it's merely swamp gas. His real concern is Hester Bledden, who disrupts his chances of winning contests with her taunts. However, when a mysterious figure emerges from the swamp, William must confront both his fears and rivals, proving his bravery and resilience as a boy from Mudsock Meadow.
