More about the book
The narrative centers on the discovery and reevaluation of New Testament manuscript fragments acquired by Reverend Charles B. Huleatt in 1901. Initially overlooked at Magdalen College in Oxford, these papyrus pieces, part of the Gospel of Matthew, were thought to date from A.D. 180-200. However, scholar Carsten Peter Thiede's research revealed their true age to be around A.D. 60, suggesting a much earlier origin and raising important questions about the history of early Christian texts.
