Happy Always

The narrative follows a young narrator's escape from an isolated village to the streets of Paris, where he experiences poverty and brushes with the law. His involvement leads to the disgrace of a police unit, prompting new friendships with a musician hosting avant-garde concerts in Africa and a journey to oversee a jungle installation in remote Russia. The protagonist's quest for connection and understanding of humanity's roots takes him on a winding path, ultimately bringing him back to the chaotic life of the Paris Métro.
