Cathy is on her way to a job interview that she hopes will result in the start of a new life and independence from her controlling brother. But, being late and new to Seattle, she becomes flustered and crashes her car into a van driven by Mick Vandenholt. Shaken, she continues on to her interview, promising Mick that she'll return to the scene of the crime.
