As a child, I had a big imagination and I created an imaginary friend, Maryann. This is my story about my imaginary friend, the trouble I got into, and what I learned from my mistakes. As we know, children often have big imaginations, and although this can be fun, sometimes it can cause a problem. Heather, a little girl with a creative mind, fi nds this out. Heather has a friend, Maryann, whom she loves to play with, but Maryann is imaginary. Even though Maryann is not real, Heather tries to get out of trouble by blaming everything on Maryann. This story begins by showing a bond between Heather and Maryann; however, when Heather starts blaming things on Maryann, Mom has to step in. This brings a whimsical tale of a little girl and her imaginary friend.
