Then there was the big car-theft ring conspiracy that came so very close to home. Willie was an orphan for the second time, Maw died when he was ten. Though life found a way to kick this little boy around, he was a survivor. He grew up to marry a sweetheart. They're children became entertainers and recording artists. After a heartbreaking divorce, then the tragedy of losing his beloved son, Willie himself became a Nashville published songwriter and recording artist.
