Bull Head Pond is situated off one of the main creek beds of Laurel Lake. As the story is told, the pond had been ruled by a bossy bullfrog named Princess Jacqueline. The good natured pond life referred to Princess Jacqueline as the "Bully Frog" And with good reason. Her angry mean spirited personality made her unpopular and disliked. Theresa a small green pond frog with a sunny and happy disposition took the same route to school every day, but she was picked on because she was disabled. Theresa had to hop by Princess Jacqueline who bullied Theresa on a regular basis calling her Stupid Head, Green Slime and Four-eyes. After some time, Theresa stood up to Bully Frog. This allowed Theresa and her pond critter classmates to no longer play a game of leap frog in order to get to school. Everyone met on a common lily pad where they proved that all problems can be worked through. Princess Jacqueline and Theresa discovered some of life's greatest lessons. Now they teach others about the true meaning and understanding of friendship and learning to trust, love and accept others as they are! This enlightening tale lures the reader's attention by addressing this ongoing and out of hand situation that happens everywhere and anywhere, namely ~ bullying!
