The author and her husband live in Colorado where this story, based on true events took place in the late 1950 s. She felt it was providential that her husband s company transferred him from Phoenix to this small area when he could have been transferred anywhere in the U. S. She had always wanted to come back to this little town and has enjoyed spending the last seven years here. Sharon (Sherry to friends and family) has four children from her fi rst marriage along with ten grandchildren and one great grandchild, all who live in Alaska where she spent about sixteen years of the twenty nine years of marriage to her fi rst husband. She also has a stepdaughter from her present husband, Larry. She has lived in seven states and when she moved to her current address it was the sixtieth time she had moved. Her favorite thing to do is to visit her children and grandchildren as often as possible. She enjoys singing in church as well as in a 50 s 60 s rock and roll band.
