Daffodils

Carly Brooker is a breeder of thoroughbred horses. The last winter was harsh. He lost his mother and youngest brother. However, it did bring his beloved Julia and her two sons to live with them. Carly and Julia married and now she is part of his dysfunctional family. Carly's father, Murphy Brooker, has always favored Carly's siblings over Carly. Every effort to please Murphy has ended in failure. Carly is hoping this spring will be better; after all, it is his favorite time of year.
