Bentley, a deacon at Kingdom Cometh Baptist Church for many years was doing all that he could to be the man that God had called him to be. That is until he let the devil step in and detour him from his righteous path. His beautiful wife Glinda was busy working and taking care of their only son Benny. She had a heart of gold and loved her family more than anything in the world. Like many couples, Bentley and Glinda have their fair share of problems, but are they too hard to face together or are they better off being apart? When things began to get too hectic for them they decide to move in order to make a fresh start for their family. After an invitation to a friend's church, they both feel like this is where God wants them to be. Their future is bright, and they are happier than ever. That is until Bentley becomes a deacon.
