Throughout Ben Garner's life he has experienced success, failure, loss, love and loneliness. Struggling to survive between torn realities, sometimes feeling that he lives two lives within one. A standout athlete throughout his youth he went on to excel at a collegiate level. Most things came very easy to him early on in his life, however soon adversity reared her powerful hand. From his collegiate years through his late twenties he was engulfed in a world of adversity, disappointment, heartache and confusion. During this period he found solace in the pen and paper. Through his most frustrating times he looked inward, he searched deep within, he used writing as tool to express, to release anxieties and feelings and to question his own ideas.
