That was the year that our doctor diagnosed me with hypoglycemia. A way to describe this condition is that I would eat something, after which my energy would soon spike, and then shortly after, I would feel my energy plummet. The result was that I was very moody and frustrated a lot. I did not have much resistance to colds and often experienced flu-like symptoms, which put me in bed a lot of the time.
