THE LITTLE SONGBIRD tells the story of a little bird living on a farm and feeling useless because while each of the other animals on the farm has a job to do, she does not. The little bird feels depressed. So one day, just to cheer herself up, the little bird begins to sing, and after seeing the positive reaction of all the other members of the farm to her beautiful singing, the bird feels that her job is to sing and that she has become a useful member of the community.
