More about the book

This book looks at how our childhood largely dictates how our adulthood will be. It looks at the important question of attachment between a child and their caregiver. Attachment is a deep and permanent emotional bond with the caregiver. If that is absent, for whatever reason, the negative consequences will be seen in adulthood. The book explores the various distresses such adults suffer, which are listed in an appendix and discussed in the chapters on various types of fear, core jealousy and core or toxic anger. These are explained and there is a detailed discussion on how to heal them. All of the themes explored are the ones constantly dealt with by therapists.
