Spunky was a male beagle who actually lived in Tallahassee and Leon County, Florida. Beagles are made to hunt and Spunky always preferred hunting and tracking to eating or any other pastime ( cept maybe sex)! Spunky was healthy, had a good temperament, was happy and merry with a little glint of mischief in his eyes, and had an outgoing personality. He didn't always use good judgement, but he did everything in his life with enthusiasm. This book recounts some of his adventures.
