Sharon Cross was sitting on the beach and considering her past. Five years ago she was to have been married, but her fiancé jilted her and ran off with another woman. While thinking of this time, she felt bad because she'd wanted to have children. Just then a little girl comes up and asks, "Are you lost?" This begins an association that sees Sharon adopting the child! Her boarder who shares the large house is a blind pianist, who falls in love with the child, Sandy.
