Aloys Blumauer and the literature of Austrian enlightenment

This monography analyzes the writings of Aloys Blumauer (1755-1798), his poetry, travesty of the Aeneid, drama, essays and masonic writings, within the framework of the Enlightenment, and evaluates his contributions to Austrian-German literary and intellectual history of the 18th century.
