More than thirty social and humanitarian scientist were involved in the research project „Theory and Practice of the Welfare State in Europe in 20th Century, which was part of the research programme of the Institute of History, Academy of Sciences of the Czech Republic. The team included specialists in economic and social history, political scientists, sociologists, lawyers, and economists from a number of European countries, namely Great Britain, France, Germany, Russia, Austria, Slovakia and Czech Republic.The result of their cooperation is a highly interdisciplinary work. Více než třicet vědeckých pracovníků z oboru sociálních a humanitních věd se podílelo na výzkumném projektu „Teorie a praxe sociálního státu ve 20. století“, který byl součástí výzkumného programu Historického ústavu Akademie věd České republiky. Tým zahrnoval specialisty v oboru hospodářských a sociálních dějin, sociology, právníky a ekonomy z řady evropských zemí, konkrétně Velké Británie, Francie, Německa, Ruska, Rakouska, Slovenska a České republiky.Výsledkem této spolupráce vznikla vysoce interdisciplinární práce.
