Joining the 2nd Yorkshire regiment with his life long friends he is deployed to Northern Ireland where they are turned from boys into men through their experiences of the troubles and the loss of friends at the hands of the IRA. Unknown to these son's of Yorkshire there is a traitor among them that will lead to some thought provoking and gut wrenching outcomes. Peter and his friends must learn to survive in this environment of dis-trust and violence but besides the horrors of insurgency Peter finds the love of his life but not without obstacles to cross.
