Lenovo is a global leader in the PC market, employing over 19,000 people worldwide. Lenovo is also a worldwide sponsor of the International Olympic Committee, supporting the 2006 Winter Games in Torino and the 2008 Summer Games in Beijing. Author Ling Zhijun is recognized for his insights on China’s economic reform, while translator Martha Avery has translated numerous works of Chinese literature into English. Avery, based in Boulder, Colorado, frequently travels to China as a business consultant.
