Vallankumous järisyttää Venäjää, mutta sen hiljaisiin metsiin kätkeytyy yksinäisyys ja lopulta riippuvuus. Mihail Afanasjevits Bulgakov (1891-1940) oli neuvostoliittolainen kirjailija ja dramaturgi.
