Hans Morgenthaler
June 4, 1890 – March 16, 1928
Hans Morgenthaler, known as Hamo, was a remarkable author whose work drew deeply from his diverse life experiences. His early studies in zoology and botany, alongside his later career as a geologist in Southeast Asia, provided rich material woven into his literary output. Returning to Switzerland due to illness, he dedicated himself to writing, with his Asian adventures forming the central focus of his novels. Despite personal struggles with health and mental well-being, his writing often explored themes of life on the road and personal challenges.
