Von 1958 bis 1959 Redaktions-assistent im Droste-Verlag, Düsseldorf. 1959-1960 erste Agenturtätigkeit und Veröffentlichungen in der Tages und Fachpresse zum Zeitgeschehen, zur Stadt- und Industriekultur. 1960 Auswanderung nach Kanada, 1961 Übersiedlung nach New York, dort bis 1973 tätig als Presse-Agentur-Photograh.
