Trees is the fourth volume in the series Nature Works. Trees indeed have hearts. (H.D.Thoreau) The poems, reflections and meditations on trees are accompanied by aquarelles by the Artist Gabrielle von Bernstorff. Nature Works consists of three preceeding titles: The Rock; Water, Painting with Rain and Air. The titles Sun, Moon and Stars as well as for the Love of Dolphins are to follow. This title is in English and German. Gabrielle von Bernstorff-Nahat is a poet, artists and architect living in Switzerland. The beauty of the environment of her new home in Stein am Rhein has inspired her to the series Nature Works. Her previous titles include the poetry volumes Alicia Mediterranica, You my Love, The Ikarus Girl as well as Mother Dada's Blütenzorn and Blütentrauer and Color Writing.
