Als Choreografin hat sich die gebürtige Französin Wanda Golonka auf ungewöhnliche Wege begeben. Ausgebildet bei Rosella Hightower und an der Folkwang Schule, tanzte sie bei Pina Bausch und gründete die Gruppe Neuer Tanz. Sie war „artist in residence“ am Marstall München und von 2001 bis 2009 Hausregisseurin am schauspielfrankfurt.
