Small Joys

Set in mid-noughties Britain, this story follows Harley, a young queer Black man grappling with feelings of failure after dropping out of music journalism. His life takes a turn when he meets Muddy, a charismatic birdwatcher and rugby enthusiast, who becomes a loyal friend. Muddy's zest for life helps Harley regain hope, while both characters navigate their identities and the complexities of friendship. Their bond challenges societal norms, revealing deeper truths about themselves in the process.
