The author, Piotr Florczyk, is a multifaceted literary figure known for his poetry, essays, and translations. Originally from Kraków, Poland, he relocated to the United States as a teenager. His diverse body of work has appeared in numerous journals, showcasing his contributions to literature. As a co-founder of Calypso Editions, he plays a significant role in the publishing world. Currently, he is pursuing a Ph.D. in Literature and Creative Writing at the University of Southern California, further solidifying his academic and creative endeavors.
