The Guilty Abroad

Set in England, the story follows Mark Twain and his assistant, Wentworth Cabot, as they navigate unexpected chaos during a family visit. Their plans for sightseeing are disrupted by Slippery Ed, a con man who persuades Twain to attend a séance, despite his skepticism about the supernatural. When a murder occurs at the event, Twain is thrust into a mystery where he must determine if the culprit is a living person or a ghostly presence, blending humor with suspense in a unique narrative.
