Poetry and Pastels

Inspired by the Brazilian tradition of "Literatura de Cordel," this collection features selected poetry and pastel drawings that emerged from handmade cards during the COVID-19 pandemic. The cards served as a community offering, capturing the essence of shared experiences. This book compiles the poems and artwork from those cards, culminating in a final piece created for the winter Solstice, symbolizing a reflective journey through the seasons and the profound thoughts and emotions of the time.
