More about the book
The study evaluates the clinical efficacy of CIA and CNA intrusion arches in treating deep bite cases. Analyzing lateral cephalograms from 50 patients, the research found that CIA resulted in an average intrusion of 1mm, while CNA achieved 1.3mm over four months. Neither arch significantly altered molar positioning, but both caused some retraction of lower incisors. The findings indicate that both types of intrusion arches are effective for lower incisor intrusion, with statistical significance established at a P value of < 0.05.
