The book features two lengthy poems by Peter Goulding, inspired by a competition to modernize Robbie Burns' classic poem, Tam o'Shanter. Despite Goulding's efforts, neither of his submissions met the organizers' expectations. Additionally, the original poem is included, providing a juxtaposition between the traditional work and contemporary interpretations.
