A Neo Tropical Companion

Exploring themes of mortality, uncertainty, and personal experiences, this collection features haikus by Jamie Stewart, known as the singer of Xiu Xiu. It includes a mix of previously published works and two-thirds new poems, all crafted in the classical Japanese style. Inspired by an old guidebook discovered in the jungle, the poems delve into diverse subjects such as relationships, nature, and the complexities of life, reflecting Stewart's unique perspective and experiences on tour and in his youth.
