The Handbook combines theoretical and empirical perspectives and comprises conceptual debates about current challenges to international organizations. Building on theoretical discussions in their study of international organizations, the individual chapters provide basic and up to date knowledge about regional and global organizations as well as development banks and offer insight into their role in world politics.
