Analytical Techniques in Meat Science is a comprehensive compilation of all the relevant methodologies for the quality analysis of meat. The content of the book is designed to cater to requirement of meat producers, regulatory agencies, researchers, students, teachers, laboratory staff etc. It covers techniques for physico-chemical analysis, species identification and microbiological examination of meat. Also, it contains the latest biotechnological and proteomic techniques for meat quality evaluation. Note: T& F does not sell or distribute the hardback in India, Pakistan, Nepal, Bhutan, Bangladesh and Sri Lanka.

Focusing on the agricultural significance of pearl millet, this book delves into its role as a staple grain in India, particularly in rural areas where its high nutritional value supports labor-intensive lifestyles. It addresses the challenge of blast disease caused by Pyricularia setariae, which severely affects crop yield in northern Madhya Pradesh. The text presents detailed data on blast severity across various districts, highlighting the correlation between humidity, rainfall, and disease progression, along with the performance of different millet entries in relation to blast resistance.

The work reported in this thesis is divided into three parts. In the first part, the synthesis of Zn-Au heterometallic complexes is described by using bifunctional carboxy-phosphine ligands. The second part of this thesis focuses on redox reactions between divalent lanthanides (LnII) and transition metal (TM) carbonyl complexes for the synthesis of high nuclearity heterometallic complexes. The third and final part of this thesis focuses on reactivity studies of [Cp*Fe(Л5-P5)] with lowvalent main group compounds.

Presented as a selection of long and short cases, this book is a practical guide to the diagnosis and management of neurological disorders and diseases for trainees. Each case is explained in question and answer format as it would be on clinical ward rounds, with emphasis on accurate diagnosis based on history taking and clinical findings. Divided into seven sections, each featuring several cases, the book covers higher mental functions/cerebral hemisphere, cranial nerves, spinal cord, ataxia, peripheral neuropathy, neuromuscular junction disorders, and extrapyramidal syndrome. The text is further enhanced by clinical images, diagrams and tables, and concludes with a section of ‘pearls for viva voce examination’.
