This author's foray into novel writing began in the 1990s, culminating in her first contract on Valentine's Day 1996. Her passion for writing was evident even in her school years, where crafting engaging short stories captivated her more than other assignments. Initially studying art, she worked and painted in Europe, drawing inspiration from places now featured in her historical novels. While exploring book cover art, she became engrossed in the narratives themselves and transitioned to writing fiction. She feels a particular affinity for the historical settings of England and Scotland, while favoring the American South and Southwest for her contemporary tales.
